November has a lot in it!

Wow it's November already!

It's going so fast, it's already half over! The fourth grade has been a little more than I had expected. I must press on and not become discouraged. Trust in my King to get us through this...and there is the back and forth to Lord Farfax twice a week.
There is a silver lining, I just haven't got a look at it yet. We have been busy on the train room, Bob has changed the layout of the tables again.

We are putting some new touches on the room also, and getting ready to put down hardwood floors in James' room next, maybe after Christmas, then who knows what's next. We got Amanda's floors done in September, boy they look great!
We are blessed to get to go to the Sight and Sound on Friday to see the Miracle of Christmas movie shoot, woo hoo! There is also a princess tea on the 20th we are looking forward to a great day!

Then there is Thanksgiving and I have so many things to be thankful for. My oh my what a month this will be!
I look forward to the month that's next, December is a wonderful month for beauty and wonder, praise be to our Lord.

James

James is a great guy, he just graduated from high school, he is having a laid back summer probably his last laid back summer in a long while, school and a job will be taking up lots of his time in the near future. He is starting at LFCC in August and looking forward to it. James is teaching himself to play the piano and bass gutiar also. He is a science wiz and a math wiz too.

Amanda

Amanda has had a fun month so far, She completed her school, she watched her brother James Graduate from high school, she has spent quite a few hours at Lake Holiday on the beach and perfecting her water skills. She is attending a Mega Sports Camp at her church. She signed up to do cheerleading instruction, and she loves it, her favorite part is learning new cheers. Only one more day to this month.

July will just as exciting, vacation will be in the picture can't wait to blog next month.

The Family Spot

The Carter/Cave Family

Our family consits of Bob, Nancy,Amanda and James. We have a family pet Cockatiel named Cutie pie.



Cutie pie was supposed to be a pet for Amanda but she has buddied up with Bob. She rides on his head or shoulder whenever she can.

Bob likes toy trains, "O" guage and he has a layout in the newly remodeled basement. We have done a lot to the space we have down there, The rooms are completed somewhat, the bathroom still needs an overhaul but it will have to do for now.

We have the family room side done so far, it's a 3 in 1 room, Amanda's classroom, family room and mini gym/craft room.
